The college planning process can be overwhelming for many students and families, given the multitude of choices and decisions. I understand these emotions; my primary goal is to alleviate this stress. I assist my clients in finding schools that meet their needs and interests and in submitting applications that bring them to life for the person reading them. My extensive experience and knowledge in the field of college admissions make me a reliable guide for your college planning journey. 

 

My journey in the field of college admissions began with a work-study job at Marist College Admissions office in the first month of my first year. This experience ignited my passion, leading me to earn a coveted spot as one of only four seniors selected to serve as a full-time student recruiter for my alma mater.

Since then, I've built a professional career in admissions.  

 

I've visited college and university campuses throughout the United States and abroad and can expertly advise students on the educational opportunities available as they determine which schools are the best fit for them. I've also spent countless hours reading applications and inherently understand what makes the best ones honest and compelling representations of the person behind the paperwork.

 

Some of the most common concerns I've encountered include the fear of not getting into a preferred school, the stress of managing multiple application deadlines, and the confusion about financial aid options. After over a decade in the IEC field, my numerous satisfied families would tell you that my understanding of how "the other side of the admissions desk" works demystifies the admissions process and makes it feel manageable and fun. 

 

As a parent to four children, three of whom are in college, I understand the excitement and challenges that come with the college planning process. This personal experience fuels my love for helping families navigate this important phase in their lives.
